Security Officer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security personnel to join our team at a prestigious project near Faversham. You will be responsible for access control/gatehouse duties, enforcing security protocols and guiding visitors and contractors to the correct locations around the project.

Responsibilities:
1. Access Control

• Verify vehicle access authorisation against issued passes.
• Check ID badges of all drivers and passengers.
• Challenge unauthorised or suspicious vehicles immediately and follow escalation protocols.

2. Traffic Management

• Direct vehicle flow, managing delivery and contractor vehicles to ensure proper routing.
• Maintain clear access routes for emergency services.

3. Visitor & Contractor Coordination

• Assist with visitor vehicle registration and access.
• Direct contractors to appropriate check-in or inspection areas.
• Ensure all visitors are aware of site rules and have the correct authorisation.

Must Haves:

• SIA DS Licence
• Emergency 1st Aid at Work
• High level of customer service
• Good communication skills
• Ability to pass BS7858 and enhanced BPSS vetting protocols
• Due to the remote location, officers must have their own transport.

Shift Pattern:

• Sat & Sun 06:00-18:00 & Mon to Wed 18:00-06:00 (60hrs per week)
• Thu to Sun 18:00-06:00 (48hrs per week)

Rate:

£12.71/hr

• Security Officer: 3 years (required)
