We are a new SIA training centre currently applying for awarding-body accreditation to deliver SIA licence-linked security qualifications.
We are seeking a fully qualified and compliant SIA Security Trainer / Instructor who is willing to be named as a delivery trainer for accreditation purposes, and to deliver training once approval is granted.
The successful candidate’s qualifications and occupational competence will be used as part of our initial awarding-body approval application, in line with awarding-body and SIA requirements.
Planned courses include:
- CCTV / Public Space Surveillance
(Close Protection and Level 3 Spectator Safety are not delivered.)
Key Responsibilities
- Act as named SIA trainer for awarding-body accreditation purposes
- Provide qualification evidence, CV, and CPD records required for centre approval
- Deliver compliant SIA licence-linked training following accreditation
- Deliver Physical Intervention and Conflict Management units (where qualified)
- Assess learners and maintain accurate assessment documentation
- Support compliance with SIA and awarding-body standards
- Promote a safe, professional, and inclusive learning environment
Essential Requirements
Applicants must hold and be able to evidence:
- Level 3 Award in Education & Training (AET) or higher (CET / DET / PGCE acceptable)
- Minimum 2 years frontline operational security experience relevant to courses delivered
- Occupational competence in:
- CCTV / Public Space Surveillance
- Physical Intervention Trainer qualification
- Conflict Management Trainer qualification
- Valid First Aid qualification (EFAW or FAAW)
- Up-to-date knowledge of SIA standards and awarding-body requirements
Desirable (Strong Advantage)
- Assessor qualification (CAVA / TAQA / A1 / D32/D33)
- Experience supporting new centre accreditation
- Experience delivering SIA courses under awarding bodies (Highfield, NCFE, Pearson, City & Guilds)

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract
Pay: £25.00-£30.00 per hour
