Primary Duties – Monitor store activities using CCTV and other surveillance tools to detect and deter theft or vandalism. – Perform regular patrols across the store, especially in high-value areas, to uphold security measures and ensure safety compliance. – Manage entry points through advanced access control systems, verifying the credentials of staff, vendors, and visitors to uphold security protocols. – Respond promptly to emergencies by executing established procedures, including first aid, CPR, AED use, and coordinating with emergency services as needed. – Accurately document incidents in reports, detailing any security breaches, unusual behaviors, or safety issues observed during your shift. – Conduct background investigations for potential hires or vendors to ensure alignment with security policies. – Implement loss prevention strategies by assessing theft risks and applying preventive tactics in line with company standards. Qualifications – At least one year of experience in security positions, preferably within luxury retail, law enforcement, military, or comparable industries. – In-depth knowledge of surveillance equipment, including CCTV and access control systems. – Certifications in first aid, CPR, AED, and Taser use are preferred; must be able to handle medical emergencies confidently. – Physically fit to undertake tasks involving lifting and extended patrols while maintaining alertness. – Excellent conflict resolution skills with effective strategies to de-escalate potential conflicts. – Familiarity with emergency response protocols and safety regulations regarding fire and lifting. – Ability to write clear and precise incident reports immediately after any events or anomalies. – Knowledge of legal obligations pertaining to security practices and compliance within luxury retail contexts. • Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies by executing established emergency response procedures, including first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety protocols
• Conduct thorough background checks on potential staff or vendors as part of security clearance procedures
• Write detailed incident reports documenting security events, breaches, or accidents with clarity and accuracy
• Manage conflict de-escalation techniques to resolve disputes calmly while maintaining safety for all parties involved
• Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when necessary for security equipment or supplies while adhering to safety standards

Requirements

• Proven experience in physical security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with a focus on luxury retail environments preferred
• Knowledge of surveillance technology including CCTV systems and access control systems
• Certifications in first aid, CPR, AED operation, Taser use, firearm handling (if applicable), and conflict management are highly desirable
• Ability to perform background checks and conduct thorough security screenings in compliance with regulations
• Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor that enhances the luxury shopping experience
• Physical fitness to stand, walk, and perform patrols for extended periods; ability to lift heavy objects safely when required
• Familiarity with emergency response procedures and compliance with security regulations is essential
