JOB TITLE: Day Security/Concierge (SIA & CCTV Licensed)
LINE MANAGER: General Manager / Building Manager
DEPARTMENT: Front of House/ Security
HOURS OF WORK: 4 days on / 4 days off (Day Shifts Only)
SALARY: Up to £33,000 per annum
LOCATION: London E2

Overview

We are seeking a polished, professional and service-driven Day Security/Concierge to join a prestigious residential development in London. This role is ideally suited to individuals with a strong background in five-star hospitality or high-end residential environments.

As the first point of contact for residents and guests, you will deliver a seamless, secure and welcoming experience, reflecting the highest standards of luxury residential living. You will act as the face of the building, ensuring every interaction is handled with professionalism, discretion and attention to detail.

Candidates must take pride in delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining immaculate presentation and demonstrating a proactive and solutions-focused approach at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Resident & Guest Experience

  • Deliver a five-star front of house experience, welcoming residents, guests and visitors with warmth, professionalism and discretion
  • Build strong relationships with residents, understanding and anticipating their needs
  • Handle all enquiries and requests efficiently, including assistance with luggage, parcels, transport arrangements and general concierge services
  • Assist with resident move-ins and move-outs, ensuring a smooth and well-organised process
  • Provide information on local amenities, transport links and building services

Security & Access Control

  • Maintain a visible and reassuring presence within the building at all times
  • Monitor CCTV systems and control all access points, ensuring only authorised individuals enter the premises
  • Verify all visitors, contractors and deliveries in line with established procedures
  • Conduct routine patrols, identifying and reporting any security risks, hazards or irregularities
  • Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, incidents or emergencies, following escalation procedures where required
  • Handle all resident and visitor information with confidentiality and in line with GDPR requirements

Operational Duties

  • Maintain an organised, professional and welcoming reception area at all times
  • Manage parcel handling, deliveries and registered post, ensuring accurate logging, safe storage and prompt resident notification
  • Operate key management systems, ensuring secure handling and full accountability
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents and maintenance issues
  • Provide clear and detailed handovers to ensure continuity between shifts
  • Upload notices and relevant updates onto internal systems where required

Presentation & Maintenance Oversight

  • Carry out regular inspections of reception and communal areas to ensure high presentation standards
  • Liaise with cleaning, maintenance and on-site contractors to resolve any issues impacting residents
  • Assist with light cleaning duties if required to maintain a high standard of presentation
  • Report any maintenance issues, health & safety concerns or incidents promptly

Team Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with the Building Manager and wider on-site team to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Support with ad-hoc duties, resident requests or site requirements as needed
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), company policies and service standards

Health & Safety

  • Comply fully with all Health & Safety policies and procedures
  • Monitor and respond to incidents or emergencies calmly and effectively
  • Ensure emergency exits, fire routes and safety equipment remain accessible at all times
  • Report and log all incidents, risks and near misses accurately
  • Participate in training, briefings and drills as required

Essential Requirements

Proven experience within a five-star hotel, luxury hospitality or high-end residential environment

  • Valid SIA Licence and CCTV Licence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service focus with a professional and proactive approach
  • Immaculate personal presentation
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Good understanding of health & safety and security procedures
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion

Pay: £30,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
