Head Door Supervisor – Circuit, Kingston

£18.00 per hour | Weekly Pay | Full-Time Role | Up to 45–50 Hours per Week

Bridgegate Security is recruiting an experienced Head Door Supervisor to lead the security team at Circuit, a busy and lively late-night club in Kingston.

This is a demanding, high-energy nightclub environment and we’re looking for someone who already understands what it takes to run a strong door operation.

This is a genuine full-time opportunity, with up to 45–50 hours per week available at the venue. For an experienced HD looking to make security their main occupation, the role offers substantial and consistent hours at one site rather than having to piece together shifts across multiple venues.

You’ll need to be confident leading a team, making decisions under pressure and maintaining control during busy trading periods, while ensuring the security operation remains professional, approachable and customer-focused.

The Role

As Head Door Supervisor, you’ll take overall responsibility for the security operation during trading, including:

• Leading, briefing and deploying the security team
• Setting standards and leading from the front
• Managing admissions, searches, ID checks and refusals
• Overseeing queues and maintaining effective front-of-house control
• Coordinating the security response to incidents within the venue
• Managing ejections professionally and proportionately
• Maintaining effective radio communication across the security team
• Working closely with venue management throughout trading
• Ensuring Door Supervisors remain professional, alert and correctly positioned
• Supporting and developing members of the security team
• Ensuring incidents and relevant information are accurately documented and reported
• Maintaining consistently high operational and customer-service standards

What We’re Looking For

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence – essential
• Proven Head Door Supervisor experience within busy nightclubs or comparable late-night venues
• Strong leadership skills and natural authority
• Experience managing and developing security teams
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Confident and decisive when dealing with challenging situations
• Good judgement and the ability to make proportionate decisions under pressure
• Professional and credible when dealing with venue management
• Reliable, organised and consistent
• Someone who leads by example and takes genuine pride in the performance of their team
