About The Role
Corporate Security Officer
Hours: 42 hours per week
Shift: 4on/4off – 07:00 to 19:00hrs / 19:00 to 07:00hrs
Pay: £14.15 per hour
Location – City of London
A great opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Corporate Security Officer to work at one of our client’s busy and prestigious site within the City of London.
This can be a demanding role that will suit a highly motivated security professional with excellent customer service and communication skills.
This role requires the successful candidate to work days and nights, on a 12-hour shift pattern (07:00 – 19:00 / 19:00 – 07:00) of 4on/4off.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be familiar with all fire, emergency and health and safety procedures that apply to the site.
- Meet, greet, and assist visitors/staff/contractors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Be fully conversant with site assignment instructions, risk assessments and business continuity plans.
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a presence.
- Acting as a robust security deterrent, primed to adeptly manage any emergent situations
- Always maintain an alert and vigilant approach, to ascertain any potential threats or changes within the work environment and take the appropriate steps to reduce disruption, loss, or damage.
- Ensure that there is a thorough handover after each shift with oncoming Security personnel.
Desired Criteria:
- Must have strong communication and relationship building skills.
- Demonstrate a strong background in Security and Customer Service.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to develop long term relationships with our clients and other stakeholders.
- Flexible in their ability to meet the company’s needs.
- Motivated in your own personal development and future career progression.
- First Aid Trained.
- Experience working in Front of House, Loading Bay, and Control Room environments.
Essential:
- Excellent Customer Service and Communication Skills
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
- SIA Security or Door Supervisor Licence.
- Be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Be punctual, reliable, and flexible at all times.
