JOB TITLE: Relief Security Officer- Nights

Job Type: Zero Hours contract

LOCATION: Slough/Iver with options to travel to Shepperton/Chertsey.

PAY RATE: £12.21 – £13.50per hour

As a member of our Events & Relief Security team, you will play a key part in enhancing the customer experience in a safe manner at our clients’ prestigious venues.

Our Security teams work hard providing a visible reminder that safety is our number one priority for visitors and staff whilst maintaining extremely high levels of customer services to our premium clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel
Provide a customer friendly, reassuring, professional security presence.
Provide a visible security contact for customers and staff.
Provide excellent customer service.
Liaising with the Site management were required.
Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
Dealing with any difficult situations that arise in a safe and professional manner.
Ensure the team are completing all site patrols.
Booking in/out visitors

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

At least 18 years old.
Previous experience in security would be an advantage.
Willing to learn and develop.
Flexible attitude to working hours (evenings and weekends).
Reliable and punctual.
Smart appearance.
Possess effective communication skills and ability to interact with customers in a positive manner.
Pro-active attitude.
Friendly, approachable, and professional.
Willing to work in all weather conditions.

LICENCE REQUIREMENTS:

You must have a current SIA DS Licence.
Possession of a First Aid at Work Certificate and/or Fire Marshal is desirable.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

You must be able to provide a checkable 5-year employment history and address history for vetting purposes (this can include full-time education or periods when claiming benefits).

INTERVIEW REQUIREMENTS:

Eligibility documents needed at interview: Passport or Full Birth Certificate; Utility Bill showing current address and dated within 3 months; Proof of National Insurance (Payslips cannot be used) such as NI card, P45, P60, benefits or HMRC letter
