Security Officer – School Site

About the Role

We are looking for a professional, reliable, and confident Security Officer to join our team at one of our school sites in Enfield.

This is a great opportunity to join a friendly team with regular working hours. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Location: Enfield, North London
Pay: £13.00–£14.50 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
• Control access to the school and monitor all visitors entering the site.
• Carry out regular patrols of the buildings and surrounding grounds.
• Respond professionally to incidents and emergencies.
• Complete daily patrol records and incident reports.
• Work closely with school staff and management to maintain site security.

Requirements

• Valid SIA Licence.
• Clean Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one—we can assist with the application).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional approach.
• Previous security experience is desirable.

Working Hours

• Day shifts.
• 12-hour shifts.
• Monday to Friday.
• Some weekend availability required.
• Consistent full-time hours with opportunities for overtime.

Pay: £13.00-£14.50 per hour
