Security Guard

Job Overview

As a Security Guard, you help maintain a safe, orderly environment through attentive observation, visible presence, and prompt communication. You will monitor activity, follow established procedures, and respond calmly to concerns, supporting the well-being of people and the protection of property.

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols and use surveillance practices to identify unusual activity or potential safety concerns.
• Monitor CCTV systems, observe relevant activity, and report concerns through appropriate channels.
• Support loss prevention by remaining alert to potential property loss and documenting incidents accurately.
• Communicate observations clearly to colleagues and assist with coordinated responses to security concerns.

Skills

Required: Clear communication, careful observation, sound judgment, and accurate recordkeeping help you monitor activity, follow procedures, and share timely reports. Preferred: Familiarity with law enforcement practices, surveillance, loss prevention, or CCTV can strengthen your contribution; related experience is an advantage. Pay: From $24.25 per hour

Expected hours: 45.0 per week
