Event Security Guards- Vancouver

Securisquad Services is currently hiring Event Security Guards for upcoming events in Vancouver, BC. This is an excellent opportunity to work at one of the largest sporting events in the world while gaining valuable event security experience.

What You Will Do:

• Conduct regular patrols of the assigned site to ensure safety and security
• Monitor designated areas and control access points
• Assist with crowd management and pedestrian flow
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with site procedures
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or policy violations
• Provide professional customer service to guests, staff, and event attendees
• Complete incident reports and other required documentation
• Follow all event security procedures and client requirements

Shift Details:

• Location: Vancouver Downtown, BC

Pay Rate: $20/hr

• June 24 – 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• June 26 – 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM
• July 2 – 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM
• July 7 – 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Requirements:

• Have a BC Security License
• Have strong communication and reporting skills
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Physical ability to stand or patrol for most of an 10-hour shift
• Confidence in verbal interactions with team members, clients, public, and emergency responders.
• Confidence in handling emergency situations involving trauma, aggression, intoxication, bodily fluids, etc.
• Keen observation skills for detecting and reporting irregularities, such as security breaches and safety hazards
