High Profile Security Guards – Retail Security

Securiguard is hiring professional Suited Retail Security Officers to provide a strong customer service-focused security presence in a luxury retail environment. This role emphasizes visibility, professionalism, and proactive reporting to help create a safe and welcoming space for customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and act as a visual theft deterrent
• Maintain a professional presence at store entrances/exits or high-loss areas
• Identify and report risks, hazards, and safety concerns to the Manager on Duty
• Patrol designated areas as required
• Document incidents, thefts, and safety concerns using TrackTik
• Support store management and liaise with police when required
• Protect persons and property through observation and reporting

Important Details

• 
  Standing Position: This is a fully standing position. Officers are expected to remain on their feet and attentive throughout the shift.
• 
  Downtown Vancouver Location: The position is based at a high-end luxury retail store in Downtown Vancouver. There is no onsite parking available; the location is fully accessible by public transit.
• 
  Personal Devices: Personal mobile phones and other personal electronic devices cannot be used while on the retail floor during the shift.

Requirements

• Valid BC Security Worker License
• 
  Basic Security Training (BST) completed
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Strong customer service and report-writing skills
