Our Security Guards are offered employment in a dynamic role in one of the most unique work environments that BC has to offer. This customer-facing role has the crucial responsibility of making our passengers feel safe and secure as they travel from coast to coast.

$1000 Sign On Bonus (terms and conditions apply)

Schedule: Full Time and Part Time

Wage: $21.79/hr

The Day to Day:

Maintain the safety and security of ferry terminals and onboard vessels by providing a visible, approachable security presence and conducting routine patrols and inspections. Support passengers with directions, assistance, and courteous customer service while promoting a safe and welcoming travel environment. Monitor activity, communicate effectively using radios, escalate concerns as required, and accurately document incidents and daily activities. Assist in identifying and reporting safety hazards while supporting passenger safety and satisfaction throughout the travel experience.

What you bring:

• 
  Valid BC Security Licence (required)
• 
  Access to a reliable vehicle is an asset
• Physically capable of standing and walking for up to 8 hours per shift
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable and professional using radio communication
• Ability to write clear and accurate reports related to job activities and incidents
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
