Event Security Guard – Arena & Stadium Events (Weekends Required)

Job Description

We are hiring Event Security Guards for large-scale arenas and stadiums hosting professional sports, concerts, and high-capacity public events. This role is ideal for guards who are confident working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with large crowds.

If you are only available weekdays, do not apply. Most events take place on weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Crowd control and guest management for large events
• Access control at entrances, exits, and restricted areas
• Bag checks, screening, and prohibited item enforcement
• Monitor guest behavior and de-escalate conflicts professionally
• Assist with emergency response, evacuations, and medical incidents
• Patrol assigned zones to identify safety risks or suspicious activity
• Provide directions and customer service to event attendees
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and venue operations teams
• Complete incident and occurrence reports as required

Requirements (Please Read Carefully)

• Valid Security License (provincial requirement)
• Minimum 6 months security experience (event or crowd control preferred)
• Weekend availability is mandatory (Friday evenings, Saturdays, Sundays)
• Availability for evenings, late nights, and holidays
• Ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hour shifts
• Strong communication and conflict de-escalation skills
• Professional appearance and conduct at all times
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow strict venue policies
• Must pass background verification as required by the client

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working at arenas, stadiums, concerts, or festivals
• First Aid / CPR certification
• Experience with large crowds (5,000+ attendees)
• Radio communication experience
• Customer service or hospitality background

Work Environment
