Mobile Security, Vancouver, part and full time

Location: Lower Mainland, BC
Shift Times: 9–10 hour night shifts starting at 19:30 or 21:15 hours
Schedule: Part-Time or Full-Time (weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed)

We are currently hiring reliable and professional Mobile Security Guards to join our expanding team. This role is ideal for individuals who work well independently, have strong situational awareness, and take pride in safeguarding multiple client properties and supporting the rest of our teams overnight.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and random mobile patrols across multiple sites to deter unauthorized activities and ensure safety.
• Perform exterior and interior checks to identify security, safety, or maintenance issues.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents and emergencies, providing first aid assistance when necessary, and document findings as well as reporting to Operations.
• De-escalate or manage confliction situations professionally and ensure safety for clients and the public.
• Complete accurate patrol reports, incident reports, and shift logs.
• Drive company vehicles responsibly and complete vehicle inspections.

Requirements

• Valid BC Security Worker Licence.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence with a clean driver’s abstract.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Physically fit to drive, walk, stand, and conduct repeated patrols.
• Night shift availability is mandatory.

Experience

• Previous experience in law enforcement, or security roles is preferred.

• Strong observational skills, situational awareness, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
