Security guard

We are seeking reliable, alert, and professional On-Call Security Guards to join our team. This role involves providing coverage for various sites on short notice including residential, commercial, construction, and event locations. Ideal candidates are those who can adapt quickly, follow site protocols, and maintain a professional presence at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol assigned sites and monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards.
• Control access to premises and verify identification when required.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents.
• Prepare detailed daily activity and incident reports.
• Maintain communication with dispatch and site supervisors.
• Follow all company and site-specific security procedures.
• Represent the company with professionalism and integrity at all times.

Requirements:

• Valid Security Guard License (as per provincial/state regulations).
• Valid First Aid & CPR Certification (preferred).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
• Must be available on-call and able to respond to short-notice assignments.
• Reliable transportation to travel between different job sites.
• Must have a smartphone for reporting and communication purposes.

Preferred Qualities:

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields.
• Excellent observation and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional appearance.

Schedule:

• On-call basis: shifts may vary (days, nights, weekends, holidays).
• Must be available for short-notice coverage.
