Position Summary

We are looking for a full-time concierge working a schedule of 4 days per week (3 days 12 hours per week and 1 day 6 hrs per week).

The Concierge will act as the main liaison between property owners, residents, management, and tradespeople. In addition to handling concierge duties, this role ensures the security, safety, and overall well-being of the property. The position includes a mix of administrative tasks, customer service, security measures, and emergency response coordination.

Location: Richmond, BC

Pay Rate: $18.5 – $19 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Customer Service

• Greet residents and visitors, addressing inquiries and providing assistance.
• Assist with administrative duties such as maintaining records and managing communication.
• Serve as a point of contact for residents and manage requests in a professional and friendly manner.

Security & Safety

• Monitor security systems, conduct routine patrols, and respond to security incidents.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed for all individuals on the property.
• Handle access control and provide security escorts when necessary.

Emergency Response Coordination

• Respond quickly to emergencies, ensuring proper coordination with relevant authorities.
• Assist in the implementation of emergency plans and procedures, ensuring residents’ safety.

Basic Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally.
• Capable of climbing a ladder (up to 8 feet) and navigating building stairs.
• Physical endurance for standing, walking, sitting, and repetitive motions.
• Strong visual accuracy, hearing ability, and listening skills.
• Ability to complete 8-hour shifts with regular statutory breaks.
• Proficient in using mobile phones, mobile applications, email, and Microsoft Word.
