Event Security Guard

Job Summary
We are seeking professional, alert, and customer-focused Event Security Guards to support the safety and success of concerts, festivals, corporate events, private functions, and large public gatherings. The ideal candidate will help maintain a secure and welcoming environment for guests, staff, performers, and vendors. This role requires strong situational awareness, crowd management skills, and the ability to respond quickly and professionally to incidents during live events.

Responsibilities

• Monitor event areas, entrances, exits, and restricted zones to ensure guest safety and prevent unauthorized access.
• Manage crowd control, including directing foot traffic and maintaining orderly entry and exit points.
• Conduct bag checks, credential verification, and access control in accordance with event security protocols.
• Respond promptly to disturbances, medical situations, or emergencies, escalating to supervisors or emergency services when required.
• Enforce event rules and venue policies while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Patrol event grounds to identify safety hazards, suspicious behavior, or policy violations.
• Assist guests with general inquiries, directions, and conflict resolution when needed.
• Work closely with event staff, venue management, and local law enforcement to ensure smooth operations.
• Document incidents, ejections, or safety concerns in clear and accurate reports.

Requirements

• Previous experience in event security, crowd management, or related security roles preferred.
• Strong ability to remain calm, alert, and professional in fast-paced and high-energy environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse crowds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
• Basic understanding of emergency response procedures and public safety practices.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions from event supervisors.
• Must be able to pass background checks and meet company or venue security requirements.
