Full-Time Security Guard – Condominium – Etobicoke – $18.25/hr

Location: Etobicoke, ON

Available Shift: Monday to Friday 3PM to 11PM or 4PM to 12AM

Pay Rate: $18.25 per hour

Responsibilities include:

• Be visible to public as they enter the premises
• Acknowledge residents as they enter and exit the building
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, customers, contractors and visitors of client’s property
• Perform routine property patrols and respond to fire alarms
• Detect, challenge and displace unwanted people
• Promote safety and adhere to client site emergency procedures
• On-site First Aid responder until expert Medical help arrives
• Recording and maintaining log books of daily activities
• Follow up with daily documentation in your memo book; inputting notes and incident reports as required

Job Qualifications:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License issued by the Private Securities & Investigative Services Act
• Valid First Aid and CPR certificate
• Previous security guard and customer service experience of one (1) year preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of common security policies and various related Acts, Codes, WHMIS
• Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time (5 or more hours), in addition to climbing stairs
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; including conflict resolution, problem-solving, decision making, situational assessment and communication skills
• Friendly personality who enjoys interaction with people at a professional level
• Works effectively and handles multiple situations simultaneously while providing quality service
• Good command of spoken and written English language
