VP Protection is seeking an experienced enforcement supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing retail mall sites, with the ability to oversee the safety and security of the environment for our client and the community. The Enforcement supervisor will be responsible for coordinating with on site staff and employees, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time, and maintaining a safe work environment. The successful candidate will be expected to provide clear direction and guidance to employees on site and demonstrate leadership skills in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage daily operations of the security team, ensuring all staff adhere to company policies, post orders, and site-specific procedures.
- Conduct regular foot patrols of the property, inspect fire and life safety equipment, and monitor high-risk areas to maintain a secure environment and promptly address any security concerns.
- Respond to and manage incidents including trespassing, disturbances, theft, and emergencies, ensuring proper de-escalation techniques are applied and detailed reports are completed.
- Train, coach, and evaluate security personnel, providing ongoing guidance, performance feedback, and corrective action where necessary to maintain high service standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns, delivering professional and responsive customer service while liaising with head office management to ensure seamless operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, client-specific security requirements, and health and safety regulations, maintaining proper documentation and operational standards at all times.
- Coordinate scheduling, shift coverage, and staff deployment to ensure all posts are adequately staffed and operational needs are met.
- Lead emergency response procedures, including evacuations and coordination with emergency services when required.
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Security license.
- Valid first aid/CPR
- 3-years of experience in a security role
- 1- year of tactical experience
- 1-years of security supervisor experience
- Use of force is an asset
- High school diploma or equivalent (further education in security, law enforcement, or related fields is an asset).

- Ability to effectively lead, motivate, and manage a team of security personnel
- Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to interact professionally with clients, team members, and patrons.
- Proactive in identifying potential security issues and quick to implement effective solutions.
- High level of accuracy in reporting and documenting incidents and activities.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, courteous approach when handling inquiries and responding to incidents on site.
