Security Supervisor (Full-Time, Part-Time)

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Security Supervisors to join our team at a prominent downtown Toronto location. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day operations, and ensure the safety of our premises, staff, and visitors. Security Supervisors report directly to the Site Supervisor (Security Director).

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor and secure assigned areas, ensuring a safe environment.
• Manage access control and monitor entry/exit points.
• Respond effectively to security breaches, emergencies, and incidents.
• Oversee and coordinate all security operations across the site, ensuring consistent coverage and protocol adherence.
• Respond to and manage security incidents, emergencies, and breaches in a calm and effective manner.
• Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services as required.
• Prepare and maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and operational records.
• Enforce all security policies and procedures in compliance with legal standards and company guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Valid Ontario Individual Security Guard Licence.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a security or related field.
• Availability to work any shift throughout the day, including days, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proven knowledge of security protocols and emergency procedures.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm, decisive, and effective under pressure.
• All Security Officers are expected to conduct themselves with confidence and professionalism in all interactions, treating persons of all ages and cultural backgrounds with equal respect and courtesy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in commercial, retail, or corporate security environments.
• Hands-on experience with security systems including CCTV, Fire and Life Safety Systems, Elevator Telephone Monitoring, Panic Alarm, and Intrusion Alarm.
• Familiarity with access control technologies and security management platforms.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Conflict resolution and crisis management training.
