Commercial Security Guard

We are currently seeking skilled Commercial Security Guards to join our commercial property team in the bustling Bay St & Bloor area of Downtown Toronto.

Position: Commercial Security Guard
Location: Downtown Toronto, ON

Pay Rate: Up to $20/hr – based on experience

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of security guard experience; commercial experience preferred.
• Possession of a Use of Force certificate.
• Excellent physical fitness and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work full-time (up to 40 hours per week) if applying for a full-time position.
• Eligibility to work in Canada.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and escort unauthorized individuals off the premises, detaining and handing them over to the police when necessary.
• Conduct regular patrols to maintain a safe environment.
• Monitor surveillance and alarm systems for suspicious activity.
• Enforce access control procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents promptly.
• Write detailed incident reports.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Conduct equipment and facility inspections.
• Assist with loss prevention efforts.
• Comfortable with key and radio management.
• Other duties as directed by management.
