Job Description

Synergy Protection Group Inc. is looking for dedicated and talented Desk Guard / Dispatcher to join our exciting, hard working and growing team! We are looking for individuals who possess exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.

As a security Desk Guard / dispatcher, you will play a key role in communication between employees, management and clients.

Schedule : Sat-Sun 1200-0000

What you will do:

  • Receive and respond to incoming calls from the Alarm Monitoring company, including fire alarms, intruder alarms, and other security alerts.
  • Dispatch mobile units to specified locations based on the nature of the alarm or incident.
  • Maintain clear and accurate communication with mobile guards, providing them with the necessary information and instructions for each call.
  • Track and document the status and location of mobile units in real time to ensure efficient and coordinated responses.
  • Oversee the entry and exit of contractors, delivery personnel, and other visitors to the site, ensuring all personnel sign in and out.
  • Verify the credentials of contractors and ensure proper authorization before granting access.
  • Record and log entry and exit times for all contractors and provide them with any necessary guidelines or security protocols related to their work on-site.
  • Create detailed shift reports summarizing daily activities, observations, and any incidents that occurred during the shift.
  • Maintain an organized log of all alarms, responses, visitor entries, and significant events throughout the shift.
  • Act as the main point of communication between on-site personnel, mobile guards, and the operations team, ensuring smooth information flow.
  • Coordinate with other departments, including maintenance or facilities management, to address site-related issues as needed.

What you will bring:

  • Must have 1 year of security experience
  • Must have 1-2 years of experience as a dispatcher or industry related experience
  • Must demonstrate and maintain a high degree of professionalism.
  • Proficient experience in administration
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interacting both internally and externally
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure during high volume phone calls
  • Track record of working in a fast paced and demanding environment
