Mobile Patrol Guard

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Guard to join our mobile security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our facilities and clients. This role requires a proactive approach to loss prevention, effective surveillance techniques, and the ability to respond swiftly to any incidents that may arise.

Duties

• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential security risks.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, following established protocols.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns or incidents.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations in a clear and concise manner.
• Provide assistance to employees as needed while enforcing facility rules and regulations.
• Participate in ongoing training programs related to loss prevention and surveillance techniques.
• Provide training to guards as well as ensure proper protocols are followed when on shifts by all guards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to identify suspicious behavior or activities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• A valid driver’s G license and 3 years minimum experience in Ontario required.
• A clean drivers abstract is a MUST and will be requested upon offer acceptance.
