Uniform Patrol Security Guard – Toronto & GTA

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify and address security risks.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
• Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering the building.
• Provide excellent customer service to tenants and visitors, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally and courteously.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
• Be comfort working within the interiorexterior of the premises/propertyCapable of standing and walking for a duration of up to 12 hours
• Working within a team environment and handling assigned tasks in a timely manner
• Complete accurate and detailed incident reports as required.

Qualifications:

Valid Ontario Security Guard License and First Aid/CPR

6 month /1 year of security experience, w/ preferably in a Healthcare, Mall/Retail, Campus, Gov’t site.

A diploma in the field of security or law enforcement is an asset

Having a Personal VehicleValid Ontario Drivers License (G2/G) is an asset

Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication, ability to be calm under distress and interpersonal abilities.

Proficiency in using security equipment and technology.

Comfort with two-way radio communication/dispatch and/or CCTV software

Approaches situations with the mindset to de-escalate and/or situational awareness

Ability to problem solve, effective with crowd management and use discretion and good judgment

Pay: $18 to $24
