Concierge / Security Guard

Concierge / Security Guard required for luxury downtown condominium, courteous, responsible individual, fluent in spoken/written English, must be able to stand for 8-hour shift, must have valid driver license "G" clean driving record, must drive standard transmission, Police clearance required. Must have valid security license.

Full time, night shift position , 5-night shifts, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday (11:00 p.m. to 7:00a.m.)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Concierge / Security Guard to join our team. As a Concierge / Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our residents and guests. Your role will involve monitoring premises, preventing theft, and ensuring the overall security of the building.

Responsibilities:
– Valeting cars for guests

– Patrol assigned areas on foot to ensure the safety and security of the premises
– Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activity
– Conduct regular inspections of doors and gates to ensure they are properly secured
– Respond to alarms and investigate incidents on the premises
– Write detailed reports documenting any security-related incidents or observations
– Collaborate with law enforcement agencies in the event of an emergency or criminal activity
– Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
– Enforce access control procedures to prevent unauthorized entry

Skills:
– Strong knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security protocols
– Familiarity with law enforcement procedures and regulations
– Proficient in operating CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment
– Excellent observation skills with the ability to quickly identify potential security risks
– Strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds
– Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
– Physical fitness and stamina to perform regular patrols and respond to emergencies
