The Position:

Logixx Security Inc. is currently hiring for a full time and a Full Time Tactical Security Guard to support our operations in the North York.

Job description

Working on assigned shifts, you will act as as a physical presence who capable of handling a crowd of over 200 individuals. Great communication and strong understanding of authority to remove any individual causing a disturbance with be required.

Duties:

• Capable to understand the guidelines and procedures to effectively control and direct a crowd
• To remain professional at all times and avoid any personal political view comments or opinion
• Perform great Customer Service and be Professional in Appearance
• Greet / welcome guests and patrons
• Must demonstrate an elevated level of observational awareness and attentiveness with a superior attention to detail
• Handle crisis and emergency situations with confidence
• Provide a safe and professional work environment for client’s employees and guests
• Maintain surveillance of surrounding area and report suspicious activity.
• Provide access control as required.
• Conduct regular foot patrols as required.
• Provide support in line management and crowd control
• Observe and report daily activities and irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Ensure that all safety and emergency procedures are followed.
• Must be able to navigate and have access to a computer to draft incident and occurrence reports as required.
• Act quickly as a response to incidents
• Bring a positive attitude every day -represent our brand, the client, and yourself in a professional manner
• Maintain an elevated level of dress and deportment standards

Requirements for position:

• Must have a Valid Security Guard license. (Required)
• Must have UOF (Required)
• Must be able to stand long hours. (Required)
• Tactical security experience (Required)
• Must pass criminal background check. (Required)
• Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual situations.
• ****Drive with own vehicle

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.40 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Vaughan, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
