Bar & Lounge Security Guard

Job Description:
I.P.G. International Protection Group is currently hiring professional, reliable, and confident Bar & Lounge Security Guards to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced nightlife environments and are committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access at entrances and exits
• Verify identification and enforce legal age requirements
• Maintain order within the venue and handle crowd control
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies professionally
• Conduct routine patrols inside and outside the premises
• Work closely with bar staff and management to ensure safety protocols are followed
• Complete detailed incident reports as required

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Valid First Aid & CPR Certification (preferred)
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Minimum 2 years of experience in bar, nightclub, or event security is considered an asset
• Availability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

• Security Guard Licence (required)
• Smart Serve (required)
