Concierge/Security Guard – Part Time

Hearthstone by the Bay is an upscale retirement condominium located on the shores of Lake Ontario. We are seeking a Concierge/Security Guard with a passion for seniors and excellent at customer service to work on a part time basis, two or 3 days per week. You must have your security guard license.

Shifts may be day, evening or overnight any day of the week.

The Concierge is responsible for monitoring and managing all access points, emergency response and security plans and equipment, and ensuring a safe and secure environment for the community at large.

The Concierge will establish and maintain excellent customer service, respond to inquiries, greet, receive, screen, document, all residents, guests, and visitors in a pleasant, courteous, and helpful manner. The Concierge are responsible for receiving and redirecting external & internal calls and providing general information and assistance as required. The overnight position is responsible for patrolling the building, answering two-way radio calls from nurse on duty, key controls, maintaining and updating logs and incident reports and calmly manage emergency situations according to protocol.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

• Concierge: 4 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
