Mobile Alarm Response Security Guard

We are seeking experienced Mobile Alarm Response Security Guards to work as part of our team.

Our officers are well-trained professionals with proven decision-making abilities, training and experience. They have been carefully screened and chosen for their proven skills in personal communication, crisis intervention, incident de-escalation, situational management, criminal identification and activity monitoring.

Our organization represents over 20 years’ experience in providing security solutions against vandalism, theft, physical aggression, personal safety concerns and parking control issues within commercial, industrial and residential markets. We understand and are capable of meeting the special needs and requirements of diverse environments.

Required License or Certification:

• Valid Ontario Security License
• First Aid/CPR Certification
• Full G Driver’s License with 5 to 9 years Canadian driving experience
• Clean Driver’s abstract
• Must be able to operate a vehicle safely in all weather conditions

Overnight shifts for Part time work. Monday to Thursday 2359-0600

Seasonal / Casual on call shifts.

Skills and Responsibilities:

• Driving to assigned location for alarm response and patrolling of the facility
• Arm /disarm alarm and give location access to authorized personnel and emergency responders as required
• Ensure property are secure and free of vandalism
• Undertake position specific training; follow direction and guidance from supervisor
• Demonstrate judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge in emergencies or other incidents
• Ability to operate security equipment/systems, computers, radios, phones
• Excellent communications skill
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills

This is a fast paced, results and team-oriented position. The right candidate must have strong organizational, decision making and customer service skills.

Experience:

• Security: 1 year (preferred)
• Canadian Driving: 7 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Ontario Security Guard License (required)
• Driver’s License (G class) (required)
