Responsibilities

• Control access to the premises by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activity around the gatehouse and surrounding areas.
• Perform regular patrols and visual inspections to identify potential security breaches or safety hazards.
• Implement loss prevention strategies by observing suspicious behaviors and intervening when necessary.
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
• Maintain detailed logs of all access activities, surveillance footage, incident reports, and shift documentation.
• Enforce security policies consistently while providing courteous assistance to visitors and staff.

Skills

• Strong understanding of law enforcement principles and procedures related to security operations.
• Proficiency in operating surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras for continuous monitoring.
• Experience in loss prevention techniques to deter theft and unauthorized access.

Pay: From $17.95 per hour
