Security Guard/Concierge

Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various security situations. This role is vital in maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance and loss prevention measures.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity and identify potential security threats.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches.
• Enforce company policies and safety procedures to ensure compliance by all personnel and visitors.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior and intervening when necessary.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services during incidents requiring external intervention.
• Conduct security checks on equipment, entrances, exits, and other critical points of access.

Requirements

• Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred.
• Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniques.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail in monitoring activities.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure during emergencies or disturbances.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally.
• Physical fitness to patrol large areas as needed.

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
