Description d’emploi :

We’re looking for a Finance Manager – Loss Prevention to lead the end-to-end management of TJX Canada’s Loss Prevention expenses, budgets, financial reporting, and analysis. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in enabling informed decisions that reduce shrink, mitigate safety and liabilities. You’ll collaborate with leadership to shape budgets and forecasts aligned with business strategy, while providing insights that drive operational efficiency and expense control. What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and manage expense and capital budgets for Loss Prevention, ensuring alignment with business strategy.

  • Oversee forecasting, reporting, and analysis of LP expenses (e.g., payroll, guard coverage, supplies, repairs, inventory).

  • Monitor capital spend and maintain accuracy in partnership with the Fixed Asset team.

  • Analyze budget performance, identify variances, and present financial insights to support decision-making and expense control.

  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and collaborate with Finance and cross-functional teams to improve forecasting accuracy and processes.

  • Implement effective reporting, planning, and analysis tools with strong internal controls.

  • Build strong relationships with Loss Prevention, Store Operations, and Finance teams to provide financial guidance and insights.

  • Support month-end reporting, variance analysis, and participate in global committees and cross-functional projects to share best practices.

  • Execute talent strategy through coaching, development plans, and performance reviews to build a strong, diverse team.

  • Mentor team members; lead change initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.


About You:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in financial reporting, forecasting & analysis.

  • Post secondary education in a related field (e.g. Finance/Accounting, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics). An MBA or CPA designation is considered an asset.

  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, business tools and ability to create business reports which aid leadership decision making.

  • Knowledge of and ability to apply generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), retail and cost accounting methods.

  • Excellent research and analytical skills (information gathering, data analysis) with the ability to develop and support tactical initiatives.

  • Excellent computer skills including word processing (MS Word, MS Office Suite) and spreadsheets (MS Excel); experience using databases and data manipulation tools such as TM1, Alteryx, SQL, Tableau, Power BI.

  • Strong organizational skills including change management, time management, ability to prioritize and multi-task complex initiatives.

  • Seasoned interpersonal and written, verbal communication skills; ability to read, write and interpret information accurately while building effective relationships with team, internal and external partners.

Salary Range: $87,031.00-$131,789.80 /year *This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
