Bouncer

Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Bouncer to ensure the safety and security of our venue, staff, and guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong presence, excellent judgment, and the ability to handle challenging situations with tact and professionalism. This role is vital in maintaining a safe environment for all patrons and staff members.

Responsibilities

• Monitor guest behavior to prevent disturbances and enforce venue policies
• Conduct security checks at entry points, including verifying IDs
• Manage crowd control during peak hours or events to prevent overcrowding and ensure safety
• Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies if necessary
• Collaborate with staff to identify bad behavior of those who have drank past their limit
• Maintain a visible presence to deter unruly behavior and promote a safe atmosphere
• Document incidents accurately and report any security concerns when necessary.

Experience

• Prior knowledge in the bar/hospitality industry
• Familiarity with drunk persons
• Knowledge of standard security protocols
• Strong observational skills combined with excellent communication abilities
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally
• Smart Serve Certified
• Valid security license
• Access to a car will be beneficial due to late hours.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
