Allied Universal is seeking a Security Site Supervisor in Scarborough, Ontario.
Job Title: Security Site Supervisor
Location: Scarborough, ON
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $22.95 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday | Days (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Security Site Supervisor to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role involves responding to a wide range of service calls and providing first responder support during security-related and life safety incidents and emergencies. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and support a security team.
Supervise and support on-duty security officers to ensure full compliance with post orders, site procedures, and client expectations
Conduct shift briefings, post inspections, and ongoing performance coaching
Monitor CCTV systems, alarm systems, and access control platforms to maintain site security
Issue, track, and deactivate access badges for employees, contractors, and visitors
Control and monitor access to restricted areas in accordance with security policies
Respond to, manage, and coordinate security incidents, alarms, and emergency situations
Ensure timely escalation and thorough documentation of incidents, irregularities, and safety concerns
Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift summaries
Coordinate closely with site management and Allied Universal leadership on all security-related matters
Enforce fire safety, life safety, and emergency response procedures
Liaise with emergency responders, including police, fire, and medical services, when required
Ensure compliance with food manufacturing security standards, including contamination prevention protocols
Maintain a professional, highly visible security presence at all times
Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews as required
Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence (mandatory)
Minimum 1 year of experience in a security supervisory role
Minimum 3 years of security experience (manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environments preferred)
Experience working in critical environments where decisions impact life safety and business continuity
Strong administrative and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and security management software
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Professional demeanor with a strong leadership presence
Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods in both indoor and outdoor environments
Reliable transportation to and from the site (mandatory)
Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent (GED or equivalent work experience accepted)
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada (up to 40 hours per week)
First Aid and CPR certification required
Demonstrated experience supervising security personnel within a manufacturing or industrial facility
Advanced computer proficiency, including:
Professional email communication and written correspondence
Completion of incident reports and daily activity logs
Monitoring and operation of CCTV, alarm, and access control systems
Experience issuing, managing, and auditing employee, contractor, and visitor access badges
Working knowledge of Lenel / LenelS2 or comparable access control systems
Working knowledge of fire alarm and life safety systems
Solid understanding of emergency response procedures, including fire, evacuation, medical, and shelter-in-place protocols
