Job Description


Allied Universal is seeking Security Guard – Residential (Floater Shift) in North York, Ontario

Title: Security Guard – Residential (Floater Shift)

Location: North York, Ontario

Pay rate: $17.60 per hour

Status: Part-time / Casual

Shift: Must have the ability to work all shifts including Mornings, Afternoons, Evenings, Overnight as well as 12 hours, weekends, weekdays and holidays

Overview

Allied Universal is seeking casual Security Guard – Residential (Floater Shift) to work at our residential sites in North York, Ontario. The ideal candidate is a seasoned individual with excellent communication skills, willing to work various shifts, and able to work with a dynamic security team. If you have experience in residential security, enjoy patrolling, and can maintain a high level of professionalism, we’d like to hear from you.

Requirements

  • Must have Residential Concierge Security experience.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and wireless technology.
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
  • First Aid and CPR
  • High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, occasionally climb stairs, and lift or carry up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Perform front desk customer service and handle administrative tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, property management, contractors, and other property staff.
  • Maintain a professional attitude toward training and security protocols, including emergency response and communications.
  • Address and resolve resident complaints, ensuring total client satisfaction.
  • Support property management with any additional tasks as required.
