Security Guard

Minimum 2 shifts (more on demend) with every other weekend, 8a-4p

Under the direct supervision of the Administrator, security officer will patrol designated areas of the facility, off-site premises and parking lots so as to provide a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, and employees. Required to work rotating shifts and performs all duties assigned consistent with Facility commitment to providing quality health care services in a compassionate and a humane manner.

Qualifications: Security License current and in good standing

Security experience not required.

Must be organized with alertness in making decisions in an emergency.

Tact and diplomacy required for contact with people. ·

Must be able to effectively interact with all levels of staff and the public.

Has the capacity to handle multifunction assignments. ·

Must be able to deal with high pressure situations in a calm and professional manner. ·

Write factual reports documenting security/safety incidents. ·

Good verbal skills.

Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Night shift
• On call
• Overnight shift
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Security guard: 1 year (Required)
