Experienced Security Guard

Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to protect our property, assets, and personnel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment through vigilant surveillance, enforcing security protocols, and responding promptly to incidents. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and security of our premises and everyone within.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
• Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems and other security equipment
• Conducting thorough security checks of people and vehicles
• Enforce security policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, including medical or fire incidents
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations

Requirements

• Valid Ontario Security Guard license
• Valid First Aid
• Prior experience in law enforcement or security roles is preferred but not mandatory
• Prior gatehouse experience
• Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately
• Physical fitness to patrol premises effectively and respond quickly when needed
• Must be reliable, vigilant, and committed to maintaining a secure environment

Pay: $17.95-$19.00 per hour
