ON CALL – Licensed Ontario Security Guard

Role Summary

We’re seeking experienced, licensed Security Guards in the Ottawa, ON area to join our list of on call staff. This is not a regularly scheduled position and all shifts will be on call, as needed. Flexible availablity is required.

As a Security Guard, you will:

• Control access to sites and monitor entry/exit points
• Conduct regular patrols
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all personnel, visitors, and premises
• Deliver exceptional customer service and represent our company professionally
• Maintain compliance with provincial and federal regulations
• Monitor client traffic and identify high-risk individuals
• Take appropriate action to deter individuals involved in disruptive behavior
• Undertake site-specific training and follow supervisor directions
• Keep accurate records and complete detailed incident reports
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security experience (preferred)
• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• At least 19 years of age
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
• Valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle access (preferred)
• Clean criminal record

Schedule

• Shifts include day, night, and on-call rotations
