Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Parking Attendant to enforce parking regulations across multiple outdoor parking lots. The role involves driving between lots using a company security vehicle, checking license plate numbers, and issuing parking tickets to vehicles in violation of posted rules. When needed, the employee will also assist with general security tasks while operating a company security vehicle.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Parking Attendant will patrol several outdoor parking lots by vehicle, monitor parking activity, and issue tickets to violators. The role requires checking plate numbers for authorization, maintaining accurate records of tickets issued, and reporting repeated violations or safety concerns. The attendant must operate the company vehicle safely and interact with the public in a professional and respectful manner.
When required, the employee will perform general security duties such as observing site activity, responding to minor incidents, assisting staff or visitors, and reporting safety or security concerns. The employee must act professionally at all times and follow company security and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Security Guard License
• Valid Ontario G Driver’s License
• Clean Driver’s Abstract
• Ability to drive between multiple outdoor parking lots
• Strong attention to detail when checking license plates and issuing tickets
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Professional and calm demeanor when interacting with the public

Work Environment

All parking lots are outdoors, and the position requires working in various weather conditions. The role involves frequent driving, walking, standing, and entering and exiting a vehicle during patrols.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 44 per week
