Saturday and Sunday: 10am-6pm

About the Role

As a Front Desk Concierge, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to residents and guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently. You will serve as the main point of contact for inquiries, requests, and concerns, creating a welcoming and secure environment within the condominium complex.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting residents and visitors: As the first point of contact upon entry, the concierge greets residents and guests entering the building, ensuring a positive and friendly environment.
  • Resident Assistance: Provide personalized and professional assistance to residents, including handling inquiries, providing information, and addressing concerns promptly and courteously. This includes assisting residents with moving setup (elevator reservations, intercom programming, key programming etc.).
  • Security: Maintain a record of contractors, and monitor contractor access to the building. Maintain a vigilant presence in the lobby, monitoring CCTV cameras, and ensuring the security of the premises. Performing routine walkthroughs of the building to monitor the perimeter and garage of the building. Report any suspicious activities or security breaches to the appropriate authorities in case of emergency, and to the condominium manager in non-emergency circumstances.
  • Package Management: Receive, log, and distribute packages and mail to residents promptly. Maintain accurate records of package deliveries and pickups.
  • Team support: Support other team members as required (Superintendent, building manager, cleaners and board of directors).
  • Access Control: Manage access control systems, including key fobs, garage remotes and intercoms. Grant access to authorized personnel and ensure the security of common areas. Issue building access fobs to residents when purchased and approved by management. Program intercom to residences upon move-in and move-out.
  • Building Operations: Collaborate with property management and maintenance contractors (such as elevator inspectors, building engineers etc.) to address maintenance requests, report building issues, and coordinate repair timing with contractors. Conduct routine inspections to identify any safety hazards or maintenance needs. Assisting the building superintendent function with ad-hoc tasks as required and defined.
  • Concierge Services: Assist residents with various tasks such as booking elevator move ins and move outs and party room reservations.
  • Financial transactions: Collecting payment and performing bookings for services such as party room and elevators. Processing purchases for items such as filters, bicycle permits and key fobs. Ensure that payment is collected and that the good or service is provided per management’s instructions.
  • Emergency Response: Follow established emergency protocols, including evacuation procedures and response to medical incidents or security threats. Communicate effectively with emergency services, management and residents during critical situations.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and resident requests. Generate reports as required by management.

Requirements

  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle diverse resident and guest interactions in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address resident concerns and find appropriate solutions promptly.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate record-keeping, package management, and adherence to security protocols.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a polished and professional appearance at all times, adhering to the dress code and displaying a positive and helpful attitude.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in using various computer systems, email and communication tools. Experience with access control systems or property management software is a plus.

Pay: $17.60-$25.38 per hour
