Event Security Guard

Join the team that keeps Ottawa’s premier event venue safe and welcoming! The EY Centre is currently hiring part-time Security Guards to support events of all sizes. This is an event-based position with flexible hours that vary based on the timing and frequency of scheduled events. Core Responsibilities

• Provide top-tier security services for the EY Centre.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and their guests.
• Execute venue and event security procedures effectively.
• Ensure compliance with venue standards and regulations.
• Recognize and value every guest attending the event.
• Monitor and manage crowd movements and behavior.
• Enjoy flexible working options by choosing shifts that suit your schedule.
• Part-time position available.

Key Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in the Ontario security sector.
• Must possess a valid Security License, First Aid Certification, and Smart Serve License.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Passion for collaborating with others to create a memorable event experience.
• Availability to work weekends.
• Capability to stand and remain active for up to 10 hours.
• Bring a positive and welcoming attitude to your role.
• Fluency in French is a plus.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Seasonal

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
