Security Guard

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to loss prevention, effective surveillance skills, and the ability to respond promptly to incidents. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in protecting property and ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities.
• Utilize CCTV systems to observe and record activities within the facility.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential security risks.
• Respond quickly and effectively to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and any unusual occurrences.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries regarding safety procedures.

Experience

• Previous experience in loss prevention or security roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is advantageous.
• Background in law enforcement or military service is a plus.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during long shifts.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse individuals effectively.
