THE ROLE
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma or certificate in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering or a related field AND several years of experience in IT security or a related field
Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) certification, GIAC or equivalent certification, an asset
Experience
5+ years of experience in Cyber Security operations.
Hands-on experience with SIEM and SOAR administration (design, configuration, tuning, and maintenance).
Proven track record in security incident response, including investigation and remediation.
Expertise in implementing and managing security solutions across multiple platforms and network infrastructures.
Strong knowledge of intrusion detection systems, firewalls, TCP/IP, and vulnerability assessment tools.
Experience in technical documentation and operational runbooks.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Proficiency with common productivity tools (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, email).

OTHER INFORMATION
This is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
You may be eligible to receive a Scarce Skills Premium for this position as outlined in the attached IT Scarce Skills Compensation Agreement.
