SECURITY GUARD

Position: Security Guard – WEEKEND

Site: Condominium Building

POSITION ONE SCHEDULE: SATURDAY AND SUNDAY FROM 7:00AM to 3:00PM

POSITION TWO SCHEDULE: SATURDAY AND SUNDAY FROM 3:00PM TO 11:00PM

Pay Rate: $17.60 to $20.00 per hour. Opportunity to earn more depending on skills, qualification and leadership experience.

Job Description:

• Ensure the safety and protection of residents and building property
• Enforce access control
• Internal and external foot patrolling of the building property
• Respond and deescalate incidents
• Prepare written reports as required
• Monitor security camera and CCTV
• Respond to resident requests
• Build strong relationships with residents and contractors
• Programming FOB’s and garage remotes

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Valid work permit
• Security background check
• Moderate physical activity: standing and/or walking for entirety of shift
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
• Remain calm and effectively perform in emergency situations
• Adhere to our Code of Ethics in performing job requirements
• Able to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Basic working knowledge of computers and how to write and answer email
