Dispatcher – security

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and vigilant Dispatcher – Security to join our dedicated security team. Responsibilities

• Monitor alert based cameras and surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
• Dispatch security personnel promptly to respond to incidents, alarms, or emergencies across the premises.
• Maintain clear, accurate communication with security staff, law enforcement agencies, and other emergency responders.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting security events, observations, and actions taken.
• Conduct well-being checks with security guards and assist guard with any issues that arise

Qualifications

• Proven experience in law enforcement, security, or dispatching roles with a strong understanding of surveillance systems such as CCTV.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to relay information clearly under pressure.
• Knowledge of report writing procedures for documenting incidents accurately.
• Ability to operate surveillance equipment and dispatching tools and radio effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in high-stakes situations.
• Experience with Axis cameras and software a significant asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42 per week
