Key Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned properties to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
• Conduct regular foot and mobile patrols
• Control access points and verify visitor credentials
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and safety concerns
• Write clear incident and daily activity reports
• Provide professional customer service and assistance when needed
• Enforce site policies and safety procedures
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and emergency services

Schedule & Compensation

• Day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts available
• Full-time and part-time opportunities
• Consistent scheduling with opportunities for overtime
• Competitive hourly pay with regular performance reviews

Qualifications

• Valid Alberta Security License (or ability to obtain quickly)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Basic computer skills for reporting
• Previous security experience is an asset but not required
