Security Guard – Charter Flight Operations (Part-Time)

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Security Guard to support charter flight operations at Calgary Airport. This part-time role focuses on ensuring compliance with winter attire requirements and maintaining a safe and orderly boarding process. The ideal candidate lives nearby and is available for weekday early morning shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible security presence in the designated area
• Verify that individuals boarding the aircraft are appropriately dressed for winter conditions
• Distribute informational materials or signage as needed
• Observe and report any disruptions between passengers boarding the charter flight
• Provide professional, face-to-face customer service
• Ensure the safety and orderly conduct of passengers and staff
• Liaise with terminal staff and flight teams as needed
• Patrol premises and inspect access points
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and client requests
• Investigate and report suspicious behavior or security breaches
• Enforce site-specific policies and procedures

Work Schedule

• 
  Monday to Thursday: 07:00 am – 11:00 am
• 
  Early morning shifts, approximately 4 hours per day

Qualifications

• Valid AB Security License
• Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
• Excellent customer service skillsprofessional deportment
• Prior experience in an airport or terminal setting is an asset
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Additional certifications are assets: AST, First Aid Certification, etc.
