SECURITY GUARD – FULL-TIME OVERNIGHT SHIFTS

LOCATION: CALGARY

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Full-Time Overnight Security Guard for a site in the Calgary area.

Requirements:

• Valid Alberta Driver’s License
• Must be available for the schedule listed below
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and remain alert during overnight shifts

Schedule

Week 1

• Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
• 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Week 2

• Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
• 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at the assigned client site.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify security risks, hazards, or irregularities.
• Monitor and inspect security, safety, and fire protection equipment.
• Control site access and ensure compliance with site regulations.
• Patrol the property on foot and/or in a company vehicle.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions, security breaches, and unauthorized individuals.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining site security.
• Monitor alarm systems and CCTV surveillance equipment.
• Use computer systems and security software to complete reports and assigned training.
• Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and security investigations.
• Protect and preserve evidence when required.

Qualifications

• Valid Alberta Security Services License
• Valid Alberta Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Comfortable using computers and security software
• Strong observational, report-writing, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work overnight shifts and in various weather conditions
• Previous security experience is considered an asset
