Live Video Monitoring Agent

Rangers Security Group is hiring a Live Video Monitoring Agent to join our operations team in Calgary. This role is the backbone of our security operations and is best described as the “guy or girl in the chair.” You will be supporting guards in the field, watching over multiple properties, and helping keep people and assets safe across Canada.

The job involves actively monitoring live security camera feeds and identifying suspicious or criminal activity as it happens. You will communicate directly with police, EMS, fire departments, and property key holders when incidents occur. You will also use two way audio systems to speak with trespassers on site and help prevent situations from escalating.

You will be responsible for dispatching security guards to emergencies and monitoring their safety while they are responding. Clear communication and good judgement are critical, especially during high pressure situations. Detailed incident reporting and professional customer service are a big part of the role.

We are looking for someone who is highly observant, calm under pressure, and comfortable working with technology. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. You must be able to focus for long periods of time and notice small details that others might miss. Previous experience in security, monitoring, dispatch, or a similar role is an asset, but not required. A valid Alberta security license or the ability to obtain one is required.

This is a shift based role and may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Shift Timings: Monday to Friday 11:00 PM to 07:00 AM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50-$17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
