Festival Security

LaniGuard Protection & Security Services is hiring people for the stage/barricade team at Cowboys Music Festival 2026.

This is a unique opportunity to work one of Calgary’s biggest live event environments as part of the team responsible for the front-of-stage and barricade area. Team members will help maintain a safe, organized space for guests, performers, crew, and festival staff while working in a fast-paced, high-energy setting.

We are looking for individuals who are reliable, professional, alert, and able to stay calm under pressure. No prior security experience is required. We welcome applicants from a variety of backgrounds who are confident, coachable, and ready to work as part of a team.

What You’ll Do

• Work on the stage / barricade team during Cowboys Music Festival
• Help maintain a safe and controlled environment in front-of-stage areas
• Monitor crowd activity and watch for signs of distress, overcrowding, or unsafe behaviour
• Follow direction from supervisors and work closely with team members
• Assist with crowd safety response and guest support when needed
• Maintain a professional, attentive, and approachable presence throughout your shift
• Represent LaniGuard in a professional manner at all times

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old by July 2, 2026
• Native/fluent in English preferred
• No prior security experience necessary
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow direction
• Must be comfortable working in large crowds, loud environments, and high-energy situations
• Must be able to remain standing and alert for extended periods
• Must work well as part of a team
• Must be able to remain calm and professional under pressure

Certifications

Successful applicants must obtain the following by July 1, 2026:

• AGLC ProServe
• AGLC ProTect

Preferred Availability

• Full availability from Thursday, July 2, 2026 through Sunday, July 12, 2026 is strongly preferred
